To start:
Our new apartment... what an... adventure slash i don't even know what. My emotions have been all over the place with this. So we move in and things are going pretty good. Have furniture set up and have our bedroom kind of set up and our other room has everything else in it haha and set up with some of Jaymon's things on the wall and the desk/computer. click pictures to see them bigger.
So to start the "fun" stuff of new apartment. when we first got in and started using things we noticed that when you take a shower the faucet by the wall. so One night I came home from work and was doing some things, just got done talking to our landlord about the leak in the faucet and heard some water running in the pipes like someone hadn't shut off the shower totally. so i went into the bathroom and turned the knob a little bit but still heard it so i did it a little more.. well when i did it the second time the knob came off with my hand... yeah i freaked because the next thing is heard was eeeerrrrr screeech (i can't type the actual noises i heard so thats the best i got haha) and water came bursting out of where the knob use to be. I didn't get pictures of how much water was gushing out but i wish i had. I was in a panic to get the water to shut off but since the knob was the thing that broke i couldn't use that and went outside to see if i could shut out entire water supply off. I called Jaymon (he was out with friends) and asked him if he knew which one was our knob outside to turn off the water and he instead of just saying no go ask the landlord he said " uh.. why?!?!?!" i told him i didn't have the time to explain and would tell him later so he said i don't know go ask the landlord.. I run over (i was shaking at this point because I had no idea what to do and was freaking out) to our landlords and knock on her door. I tell her the situation and she says," lets go check it out inside first" we get inside and she was pretty shocked at what was happening. Water was shooting out and hitting the other side of the wall and getting ALL over our bathroom. I laid down towels to help with the water so noone slipped and she ran out to see what she could do. She couldn't figure out which knob was ours either and called her maintenance guy. As I was walking out to see what she had figured out our neighbor was getting home from whatever he was doing and asked if we were getting settled in i said yes but need to figure out how to turn the water off. some other things were said and done and he went out to the road where you can shut water off as well and turned it off. Then our maintenance guy came and took a look at everything. He said that he would come in first thing in the morning to get everything fixed (it was like between 10 and 11 pm at this point so noone was open). we went a night without water. they fixed everything and got us a new faucet and knob and cleaned out the pipes because there was mortar in them. but now our shower is new and working great. the picture that looks like a piece of crap is not infact crap but the mortar they found in our pipe. they found it all over inside.
Our air conditioning went out! YAY!! in Phoenix that is the worst. especially when it is starting to get hot. At first it would just blow kind of cold air so we figured it wasn't getting below 80 because of the apartment never getting cool enough and we only ran the air at night. then it decided that it was going to make a weird noise which really aggravated me while I was trying to sleep so i would bang on the vent even though i knew it wasn't the vent. it just helped make me feel better. When it got really bad we decided that we were just going to sleep on the floor in the kitchen (its the only place with a fan) so that night we slept on the floor and it wasn't too bad for me i can fit onto pillows so i was pretty ok, jaymon on the other hand it didn't go as good he was sore and stuff. we went to the next night turn it on and it changed its mind on just blowing ok air to not blowing air AT ALL!!! so we slept in the kitchen for about a week since our landlord was out of town. But now that is fixed and our apartment get cold and it feel wonderful!!! They had to install a new unit completely and we got a new thermostat as well. NO MORE SLEEPING IN THE KITCHEN!!! YAY!!! I don't think our bed felt more comfortable then it did after we had slept on the floor for a week haha.
NEXT!! haha the dishwasher doesn't like to drain. SO we can't use it! thats it for that its just going to get fixed and we wont open it until then because it smells terrible!
AND NEXT again. we have sockets for plugs that don't all work. not that big of a deal since our couch covers them but just something else that is wrong with the place haha.
FINALLY!!! we got a microwave from a friend of a friend. its pretty ancient. well Jaymon wanted to make some of Tesia's famous peanut butter bars so one of the things you have to do is melt chocolate. He decided we could use our "new" microwave to melt it. it took like 5 mins before the chocolate would even start melting and when he got it melted a little bit the microwave decided to give us a light show! OOO fireworks in the house! needless to say he shut it off really quick and we are going to be getting rid of it. but that doesn't end the microwave. I unplugged it so that we could take it out and get rid of it and not having any power it started with a long low screech and up to a high pitched one. i dropped the cord and ran behind a wall in case it decided to blow up ( I saw on mythbusters a wall could help protect you ^_^) It didn't blow up thank goodness but i try to avoid it until its gone.
so thats it for the new apartment bit. Other than those things it hasn't been bad. We have nice neighbors and a nice landlord. now on to jaymon getting sick

Jaymon got really sick like a week or two ago. They said it was just a really bad allergic reaction but i was weird and i didn't think it was. He had gone down to Thatcher (where his 2 sisters live) and the night before coming back the reaction started. He took benydril and what not and came home the next morning with it getting worse. We went to urgent care and they didn't really help just gave him some meds he was suppose to take but she didnt really listen to what we had to say just said stuff and recommended the meds and sent us on our way. So it didn't get better it got worse :( he called his mom and his grandpa and uncle came and gave him a blessing. It was getting pretty bad so his grandpa took him to the hospital, I left work and met him there. They said allergies as well but i wanted to make sure so they took a x-ray of his chest to see if it was pnemonia related. They didn't see anything there so they upped his meds and gave him another one and a shot of something. it went away after a couple days but still freaked me out because i hadn't really ever seen an allergic reaction like that. We have no idea what he was allergic to but are going to be going to the doctor to find out here soon.

I got a new position at work. Its called Operations manager. (basically assistant manager) Pretty excited since its more money and gives me more stuff to do. We are in the process of converting to a corporate store so my responsibilities are going to be even more. I am really excited but so far it has been a little stressful, I feel like I am working ALL the time and running around a lot haha. But things are getting a little better. I am hopeful that when we convert things will be loads better! but we will see. ^_^

Jaymon still works at Caraustar doing what he's been doing. He has been trying to get on at penske which a pretty big company i guess. We keep kinda getting a run around but thiings keep popping up like they are trying to tell us to not give up on it. Jaymon is excited for it because there is a lot of room for advancement and it will teach him kind of how to repair cars and stuff. Which he's always wanted to learn. It will be good for him if he gets out of Caraustar and on at Penske. So we keep hoping they will go through with the latest thing they have brought to the table for us. But for now we wait.

Jaymon's Sister Chani had her baby! YAY So we have a new Niece who's name is Brielle Christine Allen.
8 pounds 3 oz and 18 inches. She was born at like 12:49am I think is what they said. it was almost 1 am. This is her the next morning

Easter weekend was really nice, Saturday I got to color eggs with Mike, Jess, and Hannah. She is so funny! I crack up at the things she says all the time. I drove her to school the Tuesday after Easter and I was kind of worried I wouldn't know the way so Mike and Jess drew me a map and told me where to go. Hannah, while we were driving told me many things to help me get there like "in a lil bit you'll see these REALLY tall houses [meaning apartments] and like right after that you'll turn this way [she pointed right]" then we turned and went down another street with round -a-bouts "Ok you'll keep going and then there will be these round-a-bout things that you have to drive REALLY slow around cuz if you don't you'll get into trouble, theres a couple of them so watch out" still on the same road about to turn "here comes the fun one!!!!" it wasn't a full round-a-bout just made us swerve a little bit. We got there and pulled up i asked her if she wanted me to get out and this was her reply, "Nope you're good just stay there." She is getting so big and grown up. It amazes me every time I think about when she was born. she was 2 pounds 2 oz and 12 inches long. (3 months preemie). now shes HUGE! I don't know her exact size or anything but its just such a big difference.

The Sunday after our shower broke I went to Ben Avery (its a shooting range by where I work) with Mike, Jess, and Hannah (Jaymon showed up a little after because our shower was still getting fixed) it was really fun they had a thing going on where lots of different stuff was up and running. We saw people on horses shooting balloons, trucks driving all over rocks, a mini gun, boats, atv's, rhino's, guns, guns, and more guns. I got to shoot a couple with Jess. a 3.5 something and a revolver around the same size and I think a 9 mil. i liked the smaller ones. they didn't kick as much as the 9 did.

well I think i got everything caught up. If I find anything else then I will post it later. Hopefully by then I will have actual internet set up and not have to use my phone for internet on my laptop. It will be nice to use my desktop again.
